Terms of Service

1. Account

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe. One account per person. Bots, scripted clients, and shared accounts are prohibited.

2. Fair play

Cheating, exploiting bugs to gain unfair advantage, modifying client code, or harassing other trainers will result in account suspension. Workout data is a real-world signal — falsifying it (e.g. shaking the phone for steps) violates these terms.

3. Purchases

In-app purchases (subscriptions, REPS bundles) are billed via Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple's standard policy — we can't issue refunds directly. All in-game items, including REPS and bonded Gymbiotes, are licenses to use, not owned property.

4. User content

Trainer names, gymbiote nicknames, and other content you create must follow community standards: no harassment, no slurs, no impersonation, no real-world identifying info about minors. We may rename or remove content that violates these rules.

5. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but can't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may take the game offline for maintenance, balance changes, or security fixes without notice. We may also discontinue the service entirely with reasonable notice.

6. Liability

Gymbiote is provided as-is. We're not liable for fitness advice, real-world injuries from workouts, decisions you make based on in-game progression, or losses from server outages. Always consult a doctor before starting a new workout routine.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
